How a video is checked

Every result is an estimate, not proof. Weigh it with what you know about where the video came from.

One frame every 2 seconds

A 23 s clip is 12 frames. Each frame gets its own score, so you see where the AI content is, not just a yes or no.

One AI frame decides

If any frame is AI-generated, the video is called AI-generated. Clean frames are not proof that the rest is real.

Face swap check, if you ask

Turn it on for clips with people. It asks a different question: did someone swap or fake a real person's face? A video can be not AI-generated and still have a swapped face. It doubles the price.

Pick the part you check

A longer video opens a timeline. Drag it to choose up to 59 seconds, and the price updates as you drag. You see the price before the check runs.

What it costs

Questions

How long can the video be?

Most MP4 and MOV files can be any length. Each check covers up to 59 seconds: pick the part on the timeline and the price updates as you drag. Videos of 10 seconds or less are checked whole. WebM, MKV and AVI files need to be under 60 seconds.

Which files work?

MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and AVI. Most MP4 and MOV files are cut on your device, so only the part you choose is uploaded, whatever the file size. WebM, MKV and AVI files can be up to 63 MB: we cut the part you choose on our side.

Can I check a video from a link?

Yes, a link to a video file or to a page with a video on it. Videos on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X and Facebook can't be opened here yet, and neither can live streams: save the video to your device and upload it.

Do you keep my video?

No. We send the video to our detection service and delete it from our servers once the check is done, usually within minutes. With Save video frames on (the default; you can turn it off in Settings or for one check), small pictures of the frames we checked stay with the result in your History, visible only to you. With it off, you have 1 hour to save them; after that only the times and scores are kept.

Why do I have to wait?

Videos are analyzed one at a time. You see your place in line and can leave the page: the result goes to History, unless Save history is off in Settings. Then keep the page open to see it.

What if the check fails?

You are not charged. The credits come back at once.
