An image check uses 1 credit, or 2 credits with the face swap check. A video costs 6 credits per started 10 seconds, or 12 with the face swap check, so a 30 second clip is 18 credits. A song costs 1 credit per started minute, at most 5, so a song of 3 minutes 20 seconds is 4 credits. Every plan can check videos. On the Free plan, the 5 credits a month cover images and music, not a video: add a credit pack to check a video. You see the price before a check runs, and a check that fails costs nothing.
Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes to your plan will be effective immediately or at the end of your current billing period, depending on the change.
Investigate online shows where an image appears on the web and whether anyone has published a fact check about it. It lists pages that use an exact or cropped copy of the image, links to fact checks by independent publishers, shows how the web labels the image, and reads any text inside it. It only reports exact and edited matches, never "similar looking" images. It is included with every paid plan and is off until you turn it on in the detector: with it on, each check's image is sent to outside services to run the search.
